Buff Boulders Adopt-A-Crag 2026 Event Info

Overview

The Indiana Climbers Coalition is partnering with the Access Fund for an Adopt-A-Crag event at Buff Boulders! We are coming together as a community to clean up trash and remove illegally dumped debris to restore and protect this valuable climbing area. Your help is vital to maintaining safe, clean access for everyone—bring work gloves, sturdy shoes, and your gear to climb with us afterward.

Event Details

• When: October 4, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM ET (Climbing to follow) 
• Where: Buff Boulders, meet at Marathon gas station 11980 IN-62, St Croix, IN 47576
• Goal: Remove trash, clear illegally dumped items, and steward local climbing access.

Schedule

• 10am – Meet at Marathon gas station
• 10:15am – Safety Meeting
• 10:20am – Car pool to Buff Boulders
• 10:30am – Begin clean up
• 2pm – Collect trash bags and wrap up
• 2:30pm – Outdoor Boulder Clinic
• 3pm – Open climbing
• 5pm – Pack up
