Dylan Kehres

Dylan found rock climbing as a hobby after the COVID-19 lockdowns were lifted. He was craving a new way to expend his pent up energy from being stuck in lockdowns. He became a member of Hoosier Heights-Indianapolis in 2021, where he climbed exclusively for about a year. In 2022, a group of friends took him on an outdoor climbing trip to The Red. His passion for sport climbing outdoors immediately began to bloom. Dylan’s persistent interest in the history of the development of the Red inspired him to seek out the ICC, hoping to help gain climbing access and establish new public climbing areas in Indiana. Dylan’s main climbing interests currently include sport climbing and route development. Though climbing takes up most of Dylan’s free time, you will also find him working as a Software Engineer by day, ballroom dancing by night, and spending any remaining time with his dog.
