Henry (he/him) joined the ICC in 2024 after relocating to Indiana from the lawless fringe of the American West.
He traces his earliest climbs to New River Gorge and along the Rapadan River in VA. After completing his undergraduate degree in Dallas, where he coordinated SMU’s annual Pull Down climbing competitions, Henry relocated to Salt Lake City, UT. Since moving to the Midwest, Henry has fostered his love for bouldering while actively planning sport climbing trips across the U.S. with 15 states already in the bag.
His adventures have taken him as far as Antarctica, though highlights in the outdoors include proposing to his now-wife in Patagonian Chile and honeymooning in the Dolomites.
Henry was motivated to join the ICC to expand access to climbing in Indiana and provide opportunities for education, sustainability, community, and fostering a greater appreciation of the natural world. An avid outdoorsman, when Henry isn’t climbing rocks, he can be found hiking, mountaineering, kayaking, skiing, and practicing handstands in the backyard.
